Our Professional Bio
Paulette Palmer was born in Nuneaton, England and now runs a watermill retreat in south west France offering travellers and, in particular, solo female travellers the opportunity to explore and enjoy the Quercy region of France.
She started her working career as a Personal Assistant in a multi-national company working for the Chief Executive. In that role she was responsible for the organisation and running of events aimed at rewarding staff, Managers and Directors for their many accomplishments including hospitality events such as Wimbledon, Royal Ascot, Henley Regatta and many more. This role also encompassed the organisation of dinners, banquets and Balls all over Europe.
Her final role before leaving the U.K. was working for the Chief Executive of Theo Fennell, Pet City, and Nelson Gold. She was part of the original team that raised £2M for Theo Fennell on the Alternative Investment Market in order to build their Flagship store on the Fulham Road in London.
Her desire has always been to create a top quality "home from home" style of hospitality experience incorporating a first rate guest experience in a simple but friendly and warm environment.

It’s our 3rd visit and it’s coming home. We are relaxed sitting either by the pool or looking over the river watching the wildlife and nature drift by. Paulette never changes and makes this home from home. Fab country side and eatery’s.
